Mark Ambuya Got Better from Cancer of the Eosophagus!
Mark Juma Ambuya is a 48-year-old man from Trans-Zoia (Kenya). Early 2020, he started having neck pains, coughing, difficulty swallowing, and oral ulcers. He visited a dispensary and hospital where a biopsy was taken and he was diagnosed with stage II squamous cell carcinoma of Oesophagus. Despite receiving sound medical advice, he decided, like many others, to seek herbal medicine. His symptoms worsened and he became very ill, devastating his family.
We identified his case through our patient navigator and referred him to our clinic for review. He was bought in by his family very weak, unable to walk or talk. However, with two weeks of appropriate supportive care and treatment, he left the clinic walking without support having gained substantial strength. He greatly appreciated the love, support, and care from his loved one and the care we gave him.
