The International Cancer Institute Care & Research Laboratory team is in the process of obtaining full International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation with mentorship support from the Human Quality Assessment Services (HuQAS) team. This week we hosted members from HuQAS, at our Eldoret I Campus (Kenya), who conducted risk management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions training with competency assessments. This will all ensure the provision and enhancement of optimal diagnosis, care, research, and education for cancer and other non-communicable diseases.
