Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

International Cancer Institute participates in multi-center breast cancer clinical trials for Phase I, II, III, & IV studies. Our clinical trials allow us to give you the most current therapies for breast cancer that could potentially have better outcomes aside from the standard treatment.

There aren’t many clinical trial centers in Kenya. Participating in our breast cancer trials is a unique opportunity for you.

The following are some of the ongoing clinical trials at International Cancer Institute:

• A Phase III, randomized, open-label, multicenter study evaluating the efficacy and safety Of adjuvant Giredestrant compared with Physician’s choice of adjuvant endocrine monotherapy in patients with Estrogen Receptor-Positive, Her2-Negative Early Breast Cancer.
• A Phase III, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of adjuvant  Atezolizumab or Placebo and Trastuzumab Emtansine for Her2-Positive Breast Cancer at high risk of recurrency following preoperative therapy.
• A Phase IIIb, multi-national, multi-center, randomized, open-label study to evaluate patient preference for home administration of fixed-dose combination of Pertuzumab and Trastuzumab for subcutaneous administration in participants with Early Or Locally Advanced/ Inflammatory Her2-Positive Breast Cancer.
• A Phase III, randomized, open-label study evaluating the efficacy and safety of Giredestrant in combination with Phesgo Versus Phesgo after induction therapy with Phesgo+Taxane in patients with previously untreated Her2 Positive, Estrogen Receptor-Positive Locally-Advanced Or Metastatic Breast Cancer.
