Esophageal Cancer Clinical Trials

International Cancer Institute is participating in several esophageal cancer clinical trials. These clinical trials for esophageal cancer target patients at different stages of esophageal cancer that have either begun treatment or are yet to begin treatment.

If you have recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer or know someone who has esophageal cancer, here are some esophageal cancer clinical trials they can participate in at International Cancer Institute Clinical Research Unit.

TaLiOs

The TaLiOs study is an esophageal cancer randomized and double-blind Phase II study targeting volunteers with advanced or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus.

You qualify for this study if:

  • You are above 18 years of age.
  • You are fully active or cancer only prevents you from doing strenuous activities
  • You have had surgery to remove esophageal cancer and gotten chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy.

If you have a doctor that has been attending to you, please download this file and let them go through the study details for you.

Participating in the Esophageal Clinical Trials

If you are interested in volunteering for any of the Esophageal cancer clinical trials, our team of doctors will assess your case and advise on the next steps. These clinical trials are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to access cancer drugs that are not available generally in Africa. Plus, you will incur no cost during the study period.

It is okay if you do not understand the requirements for participation in the Esophageal clinical trials. Give us a call today at +254 768 616 668 or write an email to research@intercancer.com and a member of our team will be happy to guide you through.
