WeCancervive – Cancer Survivor Stories

Surviving cancer has various biophysical, psychological, social, and financial effects that start with diagnosis and continue through treatment and beyond for patients, their families, friends, and caregivers. These effects can be associated with the disease, treatment, follow-up, relapse, recurrence, and can affect their quality of life.

In this “WeCancervive” series, we uncover the journeys of cancer survivors that have a story to share, whether their cancer diagnosis was recent or a long time ago, and get to celebrate them. They also get to share words of inspiration, wisdom, hope, support, false myths, misconceptions, and challenges encountered for those with similar experiences and to aid those recently diagnosed.
