Elizabeth Marande, from Homa Bay County (Kenya), was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. She underwent treatment in several institutions in the country and beyond.

 

Elizabeth is promoting early diagnosis for the cure of many cancers. She also firmly believes that strong faith and mindset are essential in such journeys that possibly happen for a reason as one can emerge more grateful, optimistic, and stronger.
