Peter was diagnosed with stage IIIB osteosarcoma in his right thigh three years ago when he was 39 years old. He, unfortunately, had to undergo right hip disarticulation/amputation for it and proceeded to complete chemotherapy thereafter. Despite this and all the associated challenges, he does not regret his choice.

 

Peter now has his own business, lives with his wife in Kitale (Kenya), has two children, and has a completely different outlook on life. He firmly believes that

“Cancer is not a death sentence, and we should always stay positive despite how difficult it gets.”
