October was #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth and the Ministry of Health of Rwanda, Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC), Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima, MTN Rwanda, NCD Alliance, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Breast Cancer Initiative East Africa (BCIEA), Women Cancer’s Relief and International Cancer Institute (ICI) organized a Rwanda national campaign themed “Diagnose Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer as it is treated and cured” at Nyarurenzi Health Center located in Mageragere Sector of Nyarugenge District (Kigali, Rwanda).Through the ICI – Rwanda Blueprint for Innovative Access to Healthcare Program, we donated consumables, offered screening and care services, and provided channels of education/training for health care providers in Rwanda.
