Today, Prof. Dinesh Pendharkar of Sarvodaya Cancer Institute, Sarvodaya Hospital and Research Centre (India), and visiting faculty of the International Cancer Institute, paid a courtesy call to John Mwakima, CECM of Health Services of Taita Taveta County, where they had a consultative engagement on possibilities of establishing more partnerships aimed at improving and strengthening cancer care and control at Moi County Referral Hospital (MCRH) in Voi, Taita Taveta County.
In collaboration with the County Government of Taita Taveta led by the County’s First Lady, H.E Stella Samboja, healthcare providers at MCRH Oncology Centre are going to benefit from exchange programs with Sarvodaya Cancer Institute in a bid to enhance capacity and skills in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
