Today, our Community Outreach team attended the graduation ceremony of people living with disabilities being empowered as Community Healthcare Workers (CHWs) to promote cancer awareness in Bungoma County, Kenya. This was led by Roche, AMREF Kenya and the Bungoma County Government. In addition, the team also had a discussion with H.E Caroline Wangamati (First Lady of Bungoma County) and the County Director of Medical Services to discuss the iThemba HPV project and sustainable enhancement of cancer control and care services at the Bungoma County Referral Hospital Cancer and Palliative Care Centre.
