During the National Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Conference 2021 themed “Multisectoral Collaboration for NCDs and Universal Healthcare” held in Kigali (Rwanda), Dr. Christian Ntizimira, the International Cancer Institute Program Manager for the Rwanda Blueprint for Innovative Healthcare Access Program (BP), presented the current implementation of BP in Rwanda and the best practices in Cancer Care. The BP program aims to improve awareness, health education, screening, early detection, diagnosis, optimal and personalized treatment, palliative care, survivorship care, training, research, and policies of cancer and other NCDs in sub-Saharan Africa
