Last week, on 16th November 2021, we were honoured to host a team from the Scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU). SERU is the designated committee of the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) to approve/reject, monitor, and review biomedical and behavioural research. The visit entailed training members of the ICI Research team on various SERU Standard Operating Procedures and processes strengthening our relationship with SERU as our referenced institutional review board (IRB).
